Stoneware dish by Axella, Denmark, 1970s. Axella was founded by ceramicist Aksel Larsen around 1970 in Nørresundby and produced stoneware until 1987.
Wide, low form with a flat rim. Decorated with concentric circles and a geometric grid pattern painted freehand in dark brown on a warm sandy beige glaze. Wheel-thrown, with tool marks visible on the unglazed base. Works well as a catch-all or display piece.

Great vintage condition with no chips or marks.
