A classic Marselis bowl, designed by Nils Thorsson for Aluminia (later Royal Copenhagen) in the 1960s. The deep oxblood glaze pools beautifully over the stylised zigzag wave pattern pressed into the stoneware. Marked “Marselis, Denmark,” model 2635, on the base. A solid, collectible piece of Danish art pottery, in good vintage condition with the light surface crazing typical of this glaze.
