This is the large version of Holmegaard’s much-loved “Apotekerlampe” (apothecary lamp), designed by Sidse Werner. Opal white blown glass base with the signature ringed silhouette, topped with a crisp Le Klint pleated shade that gives off a really warm, soft light once it’s switched on. Le Klint shades are known for holding their pleats and shape far better than most, so this one’s a proper upgrade over a generic replacement shade.
The base is marked with the original Holmegaard label on the underside, so there’s no doubt about what it is. A real statement piece for a side table, console, or bedside.
